Squirddle: well I got the beta but when I try to install the client it gives me that it needs %d amount of space on the drive that hold the my documents folder and then shuts down. I have 138 gigs free and its the only drive I have. any ideas?

Sardoni: And you only get job exp if you use a skill from you job on the mob. And you don't always get job exp when using those skills... so... it just had me all confused

Sardoni: You'd still be capped on your exp gain

Sardoni: To top it off... you're still under the fatigue system for a week because when you do quests you only get gil as a reward and the quests spawn extra mobs that give you exp

Sardoni: You can still "power level" in groups... so the fatigue system is just an ass backwards way of stopping people from soloing, but getting groups isn't easy. Wasn't easy in 11 won't be easy in 14.

Sardoni: That's not going to stop people from chaining quests together either. If you had 14 people you could each share all 8 of your quests with each other every 2 days. That's 112 quests you'd get done in one sitting (well... maybe not one sitting)

Sardoni: I canceled my pre-order after experiencing the fatigue system. So did a lot of my friends. If it were a PVP game I could almost excuse it as a way to ensure players were within the same relative level bracket. Since it's not a PVP game I have no idea why they would want to "punish" player progression.

Sardoni: FF14 is nothing but a grind. Did you ever play 11? People had to dedicate their lives to the game pretty much.

Kaylani: is FF14 really releasing on Sept 30?!... debating if i should buy it.. anyone else picking it up?

Vexis: hmm could be good for the casuals it would be harder to jump to level cap keeping everyone on the sameish level at all times and possible take the focus off leveling? or...it could just be a grind

Sardoni: I got to level 20 physical and rank 16 conjy level and I couldn't level anymore in a weeks worth of playtime

Sardoni: You can only do 8 quests in 48 hours btw

Sardoni: Quests are on a 48 hour cooldown and if you want to grind the more you grind the less exp you get until it resets next week

Sardoni: I did the beta. The fatigue system is way to harsh

Sardoni: ffxiv is going to suck

Vexis: ive been trying to download it too they opened back up the page and said it was suspended atm. if anyone gets on it let me know what server you guys are on it would be good to play something with you guys again
